task5

For task 5,I had to visit an attractive place in Auckland. I decided to visit Waiwera because my husband and I usually go there 3 times a month. I made an appointment with them but after that changed my mind because I thought it might be boring so I cancelled my appointment.

I did some research and I find many places which are famous and fantastic for tourists and also I haven’t been to this places.

The Auckland Botanic Gardens is one of the places I was really keen to visit.

This garden situated right next to southern motorway,on hill road.

My name is Maryam, I'm student at Unitec, studying a diploma in English. I'm doing some research about a destination in Auckland.

Just so you know we have already been approached from another group from UNITEC and I have already given them an interview. We weren't sure whether you wanted to research another destination because we have already given an interview to perhaps some of your clssmates? I am unable to give you an interview as I am going on Annual Leave tomorrow.
However if you still want an interview with someone at the Auckland Botanic gardens, please could you reply back to botanic.gardens@aucklandcouncil.govt.nz

I am studying in Northern campus which is located in Albany they are probably from Mt Albert or the other campuses. Reflection

I  have to visit a tourism destination in Auckland .Firstly I did some research and I found many places to visit then I decided to go to the Botanic garden because I have never been there.secondly I made an appointment with Denise who is  a visitor service officer.During the interview I was nervous because I made an appointment with her at 2pm and my husband should do many things before we going there and we reached just in time and I didn’t have time to visit the garden first and then I ask her questions just everything came to my mind I asked her and the other reason was that day she was too busy and most of her colleague were a way and she was the only person who answered the visitors questions and I didn’t want to disturb her. She gave a visitor guide which is includes the map and information about gardens and the copy of Auckland Botanic Gardens history. I really enjoyed my task 5, because my husband and I spent a few hours there and we looked around the garden and we had a good time in there.
The gardens cover 64 hectares of land, including 10 hectares of native forest. I think it is a wonderful place for romantic wedding or some special occasion and I took many photos. we are probably going there again in summer time because in rose garden blooms are at peak in November and continue right through until winter pruning in July.This garden is a home to over 10,000 plants from around the world

Overall, I had a pleasant conversation with Denise and I haven't seen such an unbelievable garden with wonderful landscape design in my life. It took my breath away. I regret myself why I haven’t visited this place before. I suggest to my  classmates visit it if they haven't been there. Also I found out doing the Tasks that affected to my writing and it had been a little bit improved.
I  decided to keep continue my blog even I finish this course
