 For task 1, Jack was my partner so I prepared some questions and we interviewed each other.

Reflective Blog on Task 1 

For Task 1, I had to introduce my classmate, Jack, to some other classmates. My husband videoed my presentation. I was hysterical with laughter before I started speaking, even though I had done some practice beforehand. This was the first time I have been videoed in English, so I was apprehensive. After I saw the video on my ePortfolio, I didn’t feel proud of what I done. However now I have practiced on this first presentation, I feel better about my next presentation, and I think my Task 2 will be better than my Task 1.

This task was quite difficult for me, because I couldn't upload my video on to my blogger. However, It was very useful for me too, because I learned how to put my video on to my eportfolio, create a document, improve my writing, upload them onto my  blogger page and share this publicly.

I watched my video again, and I noticed I was so serious in front of the camera, I should have a little smile on my face. I also noticed I used very simple vocabulary and made some grammar mistakes. Also, I didn't finish the talk very well. I could have said... so I'm looking forward to studying with Jack this semester. However, I had enough confidence, and my pronunciation was clear.

Overall, I think my introduction was ok, especially because it was my first time. Next time I want to avoid making mistakes, so I'm going to focus on vocabulary and grammar.
