Wendy gave me this book.

Christianity is the world's biggest religion, with about 2.1 billion followers worldwide. It is based on the teachings of Jesus Christ who lived in the Holy Land 2,000 years ago.
  • Christians believe that Jesus was the Messiah promised in the Old testament.
  • Christians believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
  • Christians believe that God sent his Son to earth to save humanity from the consequences of its sins.
  • One of the most important concepts in Christianity is that of Jesus giving his life on the Cross (the crucifixion) and rising from the dead on the third day (the Resurrection).

Christians worship in churches.

  • The Christian holy book is the Bible, and consists of the Old and New Testaments.
  • Christian holy day such as Easter and Christmas are important milestones in the Western secular calendar.

Here is my presentation.

Reflection

Task 3 was interesting for me because it increase my knowledge also I did some research about  Christian's believe and faith and It was helpful for me and I found out some similarities between my religion and Christian.
I had a pleasant conversation with Wendy. She is one of the Unitec's chaplain.I asked some questions and she kindly answered most of them. Wendy also gave me a book and she told me a short history of Christianity. Also I visited windsor park church which is near my place on Sunday.

Overall, I feel very happy and I'm doing my task 3 well. I have noticed about my confidence while I interviewed other people I felt more comfortable.

  2. Hi Maryam
Thanks for posting your interview with Wendy. You asked some really good questions - not easy ones though! Now you can add some more artefacts eg photos etc, then video your presentation to a group of classmates, and write your reflections on this task....

  3. Thanks for adding the other artefacts, Maryam. For images and info off the internet, you need to add the source (where it came from).
Thanks for your reflections as well. Try to vary your vocabulary a little next time (eg find synonyms for 'useful' :)
